I am an artist in almost every form of the word. I paint, draw, dance, play piano, write poetry, act and model. Most people view modeling as a profession and not an art form. I beg to differ; modeling isn’t about looking good on camera, it’s about creating a feeling or emotion that is strong enough to be felt by anyone who sees the pictures. Whether it’s a feel good laughing shoot or a gloomy moody shoot, I always rise to the challenge of creating something that effectively portrays whatever emotion the photographer is hoping to convey.

I first started modeling at age 16, when one of my friends convinced me to join a modeling contest called. Although I didn’t win, I discovered my love for modeling. The same company that hosted the modeling contest, Monty Nuss Photography, asked me to be a modeling representative. I spent the rest of my high school career recruiting new models, high schoolers looking to get senior photos taken, and families looking to get portraits done. While I loved this job, I couldn’t continue to work for them in college. So, I recently decided to further pursue my love of modeling through companies around downtown Denver. However, Cathexis is by far the best talent agency I’ve worked with to date.

Cathexis is not like any other talent agency in downtown Denver. While most agencies in Denver tend to be snobbish and condescending towards both clients and models, Cathexis is a very refreshing change. This agency makes a point of getting to know their models by who they are, not just their measurements. They are also extremely polite and professional towards possible clients. Because of this mutual respect between all of the involved parties, Cathexis has some of the most dedicated and professional models, along with just as many happy clients.

When it comes to modeling, I am open to all sorts of different ideas. I have a little bit of experience in almost every area. I’ve done runway modeling, fitness, glamour, fashion, urban, and swimwear. I especially love shooting with my skateboard or long board because it allows the photographer to get very candid and real photos. Since many models don’t know how to skate, I tend to get a lot of requests for shoots with my board. I also really love glamour and fashion shoots, which are always in high demand. While my primary work is through Cathexis, I also do a lot of independent modeling on the side. Because of this, my schedule is flexible, but can get very busy at times. If you are interested in working together, it’s best to let me know as far in advance as you can. That being said, independent modeling has its fair share of no shows and last minute cancellations. If you have a last minute gig that you’d like me to work on, feel free to let me know, and hopefully I’ll have an opening. Although I will occasionally accept trade for or unpaid shoots, any paid shoot gets higher priority in my busy schedule.

While I focus mainly modeling, I am excited to possibly work as an actor or dancer. I was in many different plays and musicals throughout my entire education, and quite honestly, I miss acting. However, don’t let my experience in musicals fool you, I am by no means a talented singer. I’d love to do small speaking parts in commercials or roles as an extra in a larger project such as a movie or short film. Although I don’t have a ton of experience in professional acting, I am by far one of the most dedicated talents you’ll encounter, and I promise not to disappoint.

Dancing is one of my true passions and talents. In high school, I danced on a nationally known poms team. Although we were classified as a pom team, we did much more than pom dance. In my sophomore year of high school, our team placed 5th in the nation in the hip hop division. Do not be fooled by the misconception that dance is all flowy skirts and smooth movements, our team was known for the extreme amount of power and energy we brought to the stage. This power and energy also helped us to excel in pom and jazz dance. Our team has won first place in the state wide pom competition three years in a row. I could go on all day about my team, but seeing as clients aren’t looking to hire an entire team of dancers, I’ll talk a little about myself. My junior year on the dance team, we had a change in management and lost our coach. For about a month, a few team members and myself ran the team while management searched for a new coach. Unfortunately, this happened right after tryouts, so I coached incoming freshman who had very little dance experience. Because of this experience, I’ve learned how to manage large groups of dancers with widely varying experience levels. We began working on our first dance of the season during this month, allowing me to gain experience choreographing hip hop and pom.

Over the past few years, my experience in modeling, dancing, and acting has grown significantly. I have gained a significant amount of experience in the talent industry, and would love to get some more. If you think I might be the right fit for you, be sure to email Cathexis talent or myself and let me know. I am very punctual and easy to work with, and I am open to many different ideas when it comes to modeling, dance, or acting. Earlier in my bio, I mentioned that Cathexis talent has more dedicated and hard working models than any other talent agency in Denver. I am a testament to that, as I will always be right on time and ready to work. Best of luck in your search for Denver talent and I hope to work with you soon!
